I'm proud of the hard working and dedicated members of our NHS and armed forces and the millions who do voluntary  work and give their precious  time willingly to help others not for spoiled, pampered, arrogant people who think they are better than anyone else.

you're hard

It’s hardly a genuine “choice” given the serious societal pressures and backlash if you don’t though. Most companies have faced childish playground peer-pressure, hardly a choice.

Not really, many pubs and cafes are open today if they want to. Local shops are still open. Hard to see a backlash against medical treatment.

Giving the NHS staff that worked an extra day in lieu but carrying on would have been a better way of them handling it.

I watched the BBC show about RNLI members putting their lives at risk to save the lives of others. That made me proud to be human.

It's just a shame that it often takes such dreadful and difficult situations to remind a lot of people that we are all, at the end of the day, one species.

Agree, but it tells you all you need to know that this is conceivable, yet distributing a way to produce free power is not

Well, yes, considering both cancer and the future problems with generating power will have perhaps an equal footing in causing human death and misery going forward.

But there's other places on here for that discussion.

Is it really that hard to see given the attitude from many shown towards medical workers in the past few years?

Well good for you. I can assure you that the ordinary people in HM forces are proud to be involved. I’d also bet the millions out in support of our late Queen are too.

Yes.

Then I would submit the behaviour of a great many people towards NHS workers from 2020 onwards to support my argument, then. Can supply links if needed.

The voice of the "people" often screams, and I'm not about to suggest it won't do it at decent medical workers for this occasion when it has done already when things were stressful.

Chuck them in a different thread if you like.

I am shocked that anyone out there wants to hear of treatments for cancer and many other ailments being cancelled as being a positive thing.

These discussions belong everywhere and you know it, but yes

Wasn't trying to be 'hard' as you put it. Just saying I have more respect for our nurses, doctors, members of our armed forces and people who do voluntary  work more than the royals. You might want to look inside you that makes you see a comment and reacts like that for!. Just saying
