  It would be deemed negligence, that a problem which was clearly forseen was allowed to manifest it self and no effort made to mitigate the inevitable outcome.

Surely this game is a win-win for us?

 

A victory will give everybody a much needed lift and could kick start the season going into a run of winnable fixtures (on paper of course). 

 

A draw/defeat and surely Top will pull the trigger? If being adrift at the foot of the table and not beating our arch rivals (who, themselves, are dreadful) is what it takes to get Rodgers out, then so be it.

442 diamond. Barnes isn’t worth carrying and we don’t have a right winger. Statistically Perez has actually been good when he has played recently, but that won’t happen. I could also stomach 433 with Perez and Barnes instead of KDH and Daka/Nacho, but it means Maddison playing deeper. Both KDH and Barnes deserve to be dropped though, and Ndidi should be nowhere near the XI.
