Worth noting that Unai Emery has gone from 25-1 to 14-1 in the betting for next LCFC manager?

Sorry I don't want to get peoples hopes up, but it is a market mover so someone is either betting big on it or they have reduced it based on info...?

Having said that Pochettino odds have also got shorter - so probs just hopeful Leicester fans placing some wishful bets :crylaugh:

Some folk placing some very clever money, If you've a spare £20+ I could think of a lot worse bets to place

Former Leeds United boss ‘among favourites’ to replace Premier League manager
Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is under increasing pressure, and a former Leeds United boss has been linked with the job.

A former Leeds United boss is being linked with the Leicester City job. Brendan Rodgers is under pressure at the King Power Stadium, with Leicester currently bottom of the table, five points from safety.

Rodgers impressed with the Foxes during his first two seasons at the club, achieving two European qualifications. But amid a lack of investment, Leicester have got off to a very poor start this season, leaving Rodgers under serious pressure.

The bookmakers believe the former Celtic and Liverpool boss could be the next to go in the Premier League, and they are already drawing up the most likely list of candidates.

According to Paddy Power, former Burnley boss Sean Duche is favourite, priced at 5/2, while Mauricio Pochettino is at 9/2, ahead of Rafa Benitez on 6/1. Interestingly, Leeds favourite Marcelo Bielsa, who has been out of the job since leaving Elland Road, comes next in the odds. Bielsa is priced at 17/2, and Ole Gunnar Soldkjaer is the next favourite, at 16/1.

This is not the only job Bielsa has been linked with, with Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui under increasing pressure amid a rocky start.

Estadio Deportivo have reported that Bielsa does not want to take over at a club during the season. They say the former Leeds boss wants a job where he has pre-season to implement his ideas, and that he will start fielding offers from next summer. That should come as no real surprise, especially given Bielsa’s style of play and the time it takes for teams to adapt to it.

Crucially, Rodgers is hanging in there for now, and it seems as though he will be given some time to turn things around, despite his team picking up just one point from their first seven games. Leicester are next in action on Monday night when they face local rivals Nottingham Forest.

If he was called Sean Duché maybe he’d be a more popular pick

Poch has apparently turned down Nice as he wants a return to the prem. Can't see any of the "big 6" losing their managers anytime soon so maybe we could get him in here. Only other team would be Newcastle if they got rid of Howe. Surely at the very least we should have sounded out his agent to see if he could be interested.

Forgot about West Ham.

Villa or Newcastle is where he will end up.

He's waiting out Villa.  Not going near our dumpster fire.

I think if we look for a replacement we will need a manager that can battle with the top teams with the players he has…fair to middling at the moment.  I’d like to see the likes of a Daniel Farke who has experience with the Prem (Norwich) and is an excellent manager or a Stefano Colantuono who has an absolutely dire team (Salernitana) still out of relegation and playing remarkably well.

Farke isn't leaving Mönchengladbach for this Leicester.

Give Poch a contract with a clause in it saying he can talk to any of the Big 6 if a position becomes available. None of them really look to be replacing a manager in the next 12 months at least. Still wouldn’t come, but worth a punt. He loves horse racing apparently.

Poch would be Brendan mark 2, not that he'd wanna come, we'd be alright for a year or two and then he'd slump, didn't impress me at PSG his time at Spurs ended badly as he wasn't financed enough, feels familiar, not what we need at this time.

If we want someone who genuinely wants to be at the club, an who doesn't just see it as a stepping stone, the only way to do that is by choosing an unfashionable or lesser known name, anybody high profile doesn't last more than 18 months tops, whether it goes well or badly.
