I suppose I can put the pitchfork away for Rodgers until the next game. 

 

Some sloppy passes from Daka, Justin and Evans as well as poor finishing from Vardy. 

 

But other than that we were spot on and pressing right until the end which as a result ensured they couldn't get a foothold and we could preserve a clean sheet. 

 

Maddison is just getting better. It was Mahrez-esque tonight.

It don’t get much better than that!

Total control of the game, resulting in us beating a rival and placing them on the bottom of the table AND it’ll probably result in them sacking their manager.

We were sublime at times, Maddison played beautifully, Southgate is just daft.

Forest though… utterly awful football team at the moment

-really good performance. 

 

Negatives:

-Rodgers lasts a bit longer

-Maddison won't be here this time next year 

-we should have scored 10

Just a sobering though, forest hit the post when it was easier to score at nil nil. Could have been different. I think if we had gone a goal down we might have rallied but hey ho.

We had had two free headers at goal by that stage. We were well on top. But it could have been different.
