Our issue has been being mentally weak and being unable to defend.

I think that is exactly what he meant and what I meant before.  So we are aligned.

 

We need to have a strong mentally and not one where we get scared of going forward the moment we are in front. That is the definition of weak and why that mentality has meant we choke so many times before.

I think others misunderstood you. Exactly, we can only win occasionally by playing in our shell trying to protect a 1-0 lead ugly. But if we carry that on, we won’t win many games. We win many games if we consistently play better football and not be scared of doing so.
