Definitely did we will never know the impact of that on the squad dynamics sone players will have had vulnerable relatives and most were sticking to the guidelines as per a lot of the population. This will have caused bigger issues that we can likely imagine Edited 25 January 2023 by FLAN More unsubstantiated opinion added

It hit his thigh and bounced up onto his hand, by definition that's not considered handball. At least at the time, maybe they've changed that now. Popular Post Ricey Posted 25 January 2023 Popular Post Share Posted 25 January 2023 If Perez, Tielemans and Soyuncu all leave for nothing that’s over £80M’s worth of transfer fees with no return. If Amartey and Mendy go for nothing as well it’ll be over £100M. What a club. 4 2

Perez would represent the biggest waste of money seeing as he has contributed fvck all in his time here. Tielemans was always a risk that he'd go on a free but we've had a lot of playing time for that 40m + wages. Soyuncu, Amartey, Mendy all signed as squad players all played their part but it's time to move on, although I do think a new manager could get a tune out of Soyuncu and Mendy is a tidy player who I'd be happy to keep around.
LFox99 Posted 26 January 2023 Share Posted 26 January 2023 The player Villareal tried to sell to Bournemouth has a dodgy hamstring which is holding up his move there and in turn is stopping Villareal from finalising Ayoze... couldn't write this shit

I get it, it looks awful and that we've wasted the potential to keep reinvesting into the club. But you know what? Whilst Brighton can celebrate the least net spend trophy and play good stuff, they have never seen their club win the Premier League, play in a Champions League Quarter Final or win an FA Cup. To genuinely mix it with the big boys and put some noses out of joint. They might be in a better place than we are right now, but I'd rather have the memories of the amazing experiences Leicester City FC have given me. Perhaps over time things will change, but it will take a while. Mistakes have definitely been made, but we've also seen a lot of success too. Jordan Posted 26 January 2023 Share Posted 26 January 2023 Rodgers also said today that Ayoze was going to be in the squad for this weekend, so make of that what you will. I’d guess Rodgers would be coy considering Ayoze recently picked up a knock and say “it’s still touch and go with him” if Ayoze were indeed off to Spain, so I am guessing we don’t have an imminent move here. Sly Posted 27 January 2023 Share Posted 27 January 2023 Ayoze Perez has been an adequate player for us. He was a cog in the machine, that allowed Ricardo to do what he did. Unfortunately, his work rate goes unnoticed, he’s one of the most skilful players at the club, but his finishing is totally abysmal at times. Therefore he gets branded as one of worst ever buys. Let’s pretend that Akinbye, Silva, Slimani, Musa, Casino Jimmy and Dennis Wise don’t exist shall we? If we get relegated, people will wish he was still here.

Hold on u talking about the same Perez that plays for us , because all I have seen is a lazy player who gets pushed of the ball all of the time , couldn’t pass to a team mate to save himself, he is a player who is running down his contract and doesn’t give a crap 💩

Why would we wish he was still here if we were relegated? He's only ever had one half decent season at Newcastle when he scored 12 goals. Nothing before, nothing since. A powder puff show pony, waste of time and money.
