I’d say the changes are all positive ones with the exception of Henderson. And I think maybe Wales would be more fearful of Grealish than Rashford.

 

For a variety of reasons Maddison was never going to start this game, so anyone bemoaning his absence needs to take their blue tinted specs off.

Is it blue tinted specs? I mean he's been injured and was the last player to train but other than that he's the most in form England attacker, with the most goal involvements over the past 2 seasons of any English player. Often plays on the right for his club (Foden often starts on the left for Man City, so him starting on the right tonight is irrelevant). England are crying out for a player who can carry the ball, run at defenders, create something from nothing and pick a killer pass, all things Maddison has proven to be very good at.
