There's a French player in the BBC studio as the expert for France who had no idea what France's Real Madrid Centre midfielder was called earlier. Literally called him "that one that plays for Real Madrid" or something similar.

Many pundits (and fans in Europe) seem to ignore or just not acknowledge the progress of North American football. Both USA and Canada are decent teams and a result of some great work they're doing from early stages/years in their schools since the 90s.
