You can't use penalties he missed where the keeper has broken the rules to gain an advantage to prove a point.

Wtf? Of. course you bloody well can when it’s obvious the keeper would’ve saved it anyway and the keeper being off his line didn’t really make a difference. It’s still a clear example of poor penalty taking technique. It’s not like the keeper came 5 yards off his line to narrow the angle.

We'll regret missing that. Perfect opportunity to extend the lead while under the cosh. Gutted.

How bad is the madders injury? No stream and in the middle of nowhere

He walked off, wasn't beating the ground in frustration or wailing at the shattering of his dreams.

Apparently the physics were flexing his ankle in the way they do when they're checking ligaments.

He wasn't in agony, have to wait and see.

Are they changing the rules of this sport in every single game? Daka went one-on-one past the last defender. How on earth this wasn't a red card? Does the rule say anything about the angle of the attacker and if he's a half or 1 yard left or right of the post?

Rule changed a few years back when it comes to double jeopardy. If in the box and last man, it's only a red if the player makes no attempt to win the ball when fouling - which Dawson clearly did.

Double jeopardy rule,he went for the ball so yellow and pen, if he didn’t attempt to win the ball it’s a sending off

Genuine attempt to play the ball.

Still can't get used to playing on Saturday every week now.

Mental isn’t it. I became conditioned to 2pm Sundays!

I think we really needed that second goal. Prior to losing Maddison we totally bossed the game, but after he went off we lost our fluidity.

Still good to have a lead going into half time, and the the 2 CBs are playing well.

From total dominance with Maddison on the pitch to looking very wobbly afterwards. Gonna be a long second half, I fear.

Isn't it something about making an attempt to play the ball? Or summat.

How can you tell it doesn't make a difference, I'd argue it's a lot easier to dive if you start making a movement off the line prior to it being kicked.
