First eye witness account sounds like something like that as they claimed a boy and a girl together were stabbed.

That part of Ilkeston Road is nowhere near any clubs. It's a good half hour walk or so away.

Neither is the body found in Magdala Road, well I don't think it is anyway.

Some of the folk on twitter are warped

A cesspit of folks sufficiently emboldened to say the quiet part out loud, yes.

Mind you, in a reminder things can always be worse, you also have (the recently defunct) Parler and "Truth"Social...

Lots of students live around this area of Nottingham.

I've been one of those students who have walked home from clubs in the city centre late at night.

Absolutely tragic. Very un-nerving.

Are they even people?, seems like tonnes of fake accounts with ridiculous names, just spreading hate everywhere.

A couple are definitely real, no doubt looking to use anything they can to push their views on some more impressionable members of society

The unfortunate boy was at U of Notts and it was his girlfriend.

My daughter has been keeping me informed. It’s so tragic.

The house they are raiding is one of the roads off Ilkeston Road, one down from my daughter.Very sad and worrying indeed .

unsurprisingly they have cancelled the Graduation Ball tonight.

As soon as I saw the picture of the scene with the destroyed e-scooters I knew it would be students involved :(

Confirmed that two students from UoN have died.

According to the bloke in the barbers next door, the property was raided months ago before...

It sounds horrific.

I know some don't, but I felt quite safe in Nottingham whenever I've been there over the years.

Obviously there's don't go-to areas like Lenton, but that's like any other city.

90% of Lenton is students??

Radford is a bit rough but none more so than Highfields/St. Matthews.

Sky News's Martin Brunt salivating at the thought of delving into the back stories of the Nottingham victims.

I’m finding the reporting of this whole thing a bit weird really. Certainly some doom and grief porn mixed together from aspects of the media. It’s a sad, tragic incident and utterly dreadful for all of those involved but you’d honestly think it was 9/11 all over again.

Brunt embodies the Sky way of reporting such stories. See also Kay Burley and Sky's overeager reporting of Nicola Bulley's disappearance.

How else are you going to find out if you should fear 5G more or less than windmills?

How dare you, they're a serious news outlet.

Who can forget one of their lead journalists breaking the exclusive story of Sue Gray drinking and alcohol and using the same karaoke machine used during Partygate before COVID?
