Atmosphere tonight was subdued.

 

I think the main reason being that many, including myself and both people either side of me, have been resigned to relegation since the Fulham result. I was on the fence about coming and didn't make much noise today, in big contrast to the Everton game.

 

There's just no belief left in the stands anymore. And that's on the players.

Singing section was good until the 2nd goal but you can’t expect anything else  - following shite just can’t be supported - there was some great songs including a reworked on Wednesday Nights and one I couldnt catch all of the words but to Beautiful South’s Rotterdam included Porto, Copenhagen and Rome and ended next season we’ll be playing Rotherham at home - great effort

Great effort - the dark humour in the songs and the throwing back of the tee shirts were the highlight of the night by a distance

the lack of belief came from Rodgers basically slagging the players off in the press.

The reworking of Wednesday nights under the lights with various championship venues was pretty decent. The atmosphere and performance was  good at the start. I think when the 3rd goal went in that was more than enough for most people.
