As for the poster asking where the fake news came from both half’s, in the kop it was SK1 both times, whether it was deliberate to get a reaction from the crowd or just some bell ends trying to be clever it was utter crap doing it.

 

Back to a load of empty seats next season, those that came along for the top flight will drift away again to leave us who follow thick and thin.

I stand corrected then but it was certainly the top part, oddly it then went over to the family stand.

 

Most of the corners will be empty seats next season so those melts will be gone.

The first one started at the back of sk1, a woman behind me had a radio and said it was a load of rubbish, then one started in g1, then I think one started in the family stand and the West Ham fans died down a bit

I’ve been thinking for a while that there’s more to the whole clapping fiasco.

 

It’s become quite apparent to me that even seeing discussions on here, Twitter and Facebook in recent months, some people just can’t handle any ‘negativity’.

 

Someone will be calling the club, the owner or Rodgers out based on an objective assessment and another seemingly can’t tolerate it, not because they can disprove what the other has said, but because they just want positivity.

 

I’m sure there were plenty there clapping yesterday who know it’s been unacceptable, and wouldn’t try to argue against the fact it should never have happened, but they’re just uncomfortable with negativity. So happy clapping keeps them in a nice positive mental space rather than confronting the harsh reality.

Not possible. To have a season ticket for the PL, you’d have to have a season ticket for the season we got promoted. 
 

I’m 35 and I’ve got an issue with the way the club is run at the moment. My earliest memory is around the Blackburn playoff final. 
 

We can both generalise

And being wrong in their assertions; I think that’s what wound up a lot yesterday. Everyone needs a scapegoat mentally and some decided it should be the signing section

what drivel. I'm (just) part of the under 30s, started going under Adams, saw us nearly go to the wall and have to rely on players doing a pay as you play deal, had season tickets in Levein through Holloway. I know full well what the clubs history is, but that doesn't mean we have to settle for that, and fans who are critical of the club for throwing away the best chance of being a top 8 side for years to come, consistent European qualifications, because those involved couldn't be arsed to do the job they get paid more a year than I likely will in my lifetime are not the problem, the fans who will blindly accept shit and cheer us getting back in our box are more of a problem

They listen to people like Lineker, Savage and TalkSport who put the club down and believe it, too. That we are fortunate to be there, have had our fun and oh well, it can't be helped.

Has it ever entered your mind that it might be OK to not accept everything and to push back when people are making decisions that have a wider impact? I assume you are also very comfortable with lots of people losing their jobs, their main income because those much more fortunate haven't quite pulled their weight or made good decisions? Even though some of the "wannabee super fans" were trying to raise alarm multiple times in the season.

 

The problem is people just making everything seem OK. The attitude of "we were in League One once" so it's fine. No ambition, no passion for the club. Just pay your money and keep clapping.

 

I personally, don't care what division we play in. I want a club to be proud of, a club that has ambition. Then I can happily accept where we are. None of that is the case at the moment, even if we had survived. It's a shame not more people care about their club/city rather than just let it burn down.

You have made that up, lots of people got season tickets for the premier league , they were queueing around the stadium
