To be honest now the roadworks appear to have been completed on Aylestone Rd the traffic was fine ,even leaving on final whistle, back in Whetstone by 1030 tonight. As for the atmosphere, not sure what can be done , it’s just the way we are now as a fanbase. There’s no real edge about our atmospheres, hasn’t been since the end of the covid restrictions. Think Brendon killed us!

To here you talk anyone would think it’s only our fans who leave early take a look at the premiership all clubs no matter what league your in have fans who leave early so your wasting your breath

I can’t quite understand why this is used as a reason in January 2024 sitting top of the league.

Wasn't sure if I heard right but were UFS (It came from the Kop direction) calling fans out for leaving - "We can see you sneaking out" and/or "Loyal Supporters"?

 

Credit to them if they were! About time they got called out.

 

If not, they/anyone should, used to happen years ago.

Just as bad was another mass exodus immediately as Ipswich scored, as if to make a protest point. It didn’t put us 5-0 down ffs. There should be a togetherness until the end, but sadly that is very broken right now. I know people pay their money and can do what they want, but I wish they’d take their half-arsed attitude a step further and stay at home. Then there would be no traffic to beat, they can make a drink for themselves right on half time instead of getting up to get one 15 minutes before, and they can be in bed by 9pm.

Can only assume that there's just that many who feel above the championship and this season is little more than them clinging to their season ticket for next season.

Daughter is back from Canada and came along to her first game in 2 years.  As it ticked over to 85 minutes I tapped her on shoulder and said watch this..   Sure enough off they all went.  Its a complete joke. Away fans mocking us. Pundits mocking us.  Needed to get the lads over the line and instead there's the distraction of thousands of flakey fans leaving because they can't be arsed. Please please i beg you, leave this club and don't come back. Your time is clearly too valuable so spend it wisely elsewhere. Anywhere...just not at LCFC.

Saturday 3pm games I think Leicester roads/traffic is terrible - I must state it still doesn't make me leave early though.

 

I find midweek night games it's piece of piss to get out and home though!

It's a creation of the clubs doing over years and years. They've actively fought for this type of support.

This is a real bugbear of mine. 
They gave us 2,004 tickets in a stadium that holds just less than 30,000. Why are we giving them over 3,300? The club just don’t give a sh*t about its own supporters.

Many people are overlooking the club's role in this. They've worked hard to cultivate a sedate, harmless atmosphere.

 

It is what they want. They'd prefer a ground full of premium price paying day-trippers over fans who sing and holler.

 

The marginalisation of UFS, the clappers, family stand, the servers adverts encouraging you to tattle on rowdy fans, the 'matchday experience', the over policing... It all adds up to this apathy.

 

Don't overlook that the business men and women who are in charge of the games have worked hard on this culture.
