Stadium atmosphere

I wonder what the average age of our fan base is compared to other clubs and female match going fans seems a lot compared to other clubs. The King Power seems like it's been infiltrated by Tigers fans.

Just to add our last 3 managers style of football hasn't helped Puel, Rodgers and now Enzo.

I can't understand why anybody pays to go to watch and leaves early unless a genuine emergency. Just can't be a football fan.

Said this a couple of months ago. It is like bloody groundhog day though. Nothing has changed in the match day routine from the club in over 5 years. FFS even if it is play different music or change the tannoy man from the monotone guy of the last 20 years. Do something!

It’s too much of a closed shop. Too many are just going through the motions. The section needs to at least double in size to have a significant impact

It can only double in size if interest is there. Can you safely say there are another 100-200 lads in Nike air maxes around the ground who are willing to become a part of that?

Doesn't the style of play dictate how the fans behave too. Let's be honest. The economical style, it's not exactly edge of the seat stuff.

The first half last night felt like a fairly exciting half as did the first 20 of the second and it was still shite.

Good point

Things that stir a crowd other than goals imclude chances on goal, a player beating a man or putting in a meaty tackle or executing a particular bit of skill or a great save

Now the game seems a bit more like watching a game of chess than a football match - interesting but often not edge of the seat or passion inspiring stuff

We had all that first half.

A goal, a couple of good chances, Mavididi constantly beating his man (which then tailed off second half but that's a different story).... we were the better team and, for me, that half was one of the best we've produced this season.

All of that in a top of the table clash.

It’s been poor for years though. I do think the football can be boring but first half was plenty of chances … it’s an excuse

Yeah, we did last night and more so than usual

But overall, football generally isn’t as blood and guts as it used to be and the demographic has changed to more supporters being more passive save for cheering a goal

And we have been spoilt over the last decade and although we are still being spoilt results wise,  football at the top level just isnt  the spectacle it used to be

Was there a fire drill last night?

Must have been why else would you leave early for a game on a knife edge against one of the top teams in the league?

Hope everyone got out okay safely....

Because deep down they don't want to be there.

A huge amount of our ST holder base are like drug addicts but without the high. They can't get off it but they absolutely should.

Is being 'middle class' and being quiet the issue, particularly during home games, as mentioned by someone yesterday?..

No

Our ground is not full of middle class people, it's a complete myth.

Sorry but if you left early last night, you're a bit culpable. In those situations the team needs support from the stands, regardless of what should be happening on paper.

L1 clearly and loudly in unison singing ‘straight back up’ whilst the small Union FC group decide they prefer to sing ‘EIEIO’ at the same time is moronic.

This happens continuously.

The few in the ‘singing section’ managed to persuade some at the club (many at the club opposed it -fact) that it was they that would lead the singing, causing many others to sit back and be dictated too.

It has failed as most tunes are ego based complex, weak and very few up takers.

They're really not complex and UFS and L1 are very different crowds, L1 are the insufferable soccer AM "bantz bantz bantz" lot who spend the entire match watching the away fans, UFS are the ones who want to act support the team.
