Re. The Cov fans, I’m afraid I’m missing the point too. They all reacted to the goal as normal, then we are seeing the players celebrating. Were the Cov fans supposed to run on the pitch? Please don’t mention the dreadful and pathetic “limbs”! The post the other day of Rotherham fans’ posed for “limbs”, was pathetic.

We have four-figures minimum standing at most grounds in England - including ours - but no will to organise effectively, unlike elsewhere.

If you go these parts of Europe, it isn’t just those areas signing or that demographic. Go stand on a terrace in Germany and it’s not full of young lads rather a massive cross section of their support base. 
 

In Italy there is no terracing, seating only but it hasn’t stopped them being utterly loud

Yes I know we lost and yes I know we weren't at our best today but this thread is about stadium atmosphere and I'll be honest, was in SK1 today and it felt like I was at a proper football match with passion for the first time in quite a while (at home anyway).  Very noisy, great support when we were chasing the game.  It may be no coincidence that a lot of games where the atmosphere is flat were won too easily.  Today we were up against it.  Real shame we couldn't get the equaliser but on the plus side it's shows we can make some noise and get behind our team when we want to .

That speaks volumes. As has been discussed in this thread in the last week that isn’t exclusive to us either.

I know, didn't feel like much build up before the game but right from the start it was way better.
