I got a bit emotional in the cheers at full time. What a roller coaster, what a win!

 

I have to give some credit to the club as well for at least pausing to soak it all in rather than instantly blasting 3 Kungs

 

On WYS finally heard fans carry on after the music stopped

Brilliant day today. Soiled ever so slightly on the way home by some tosspot showing off to his chavvy mates by moaning loudly about my lad carrying a pair of clappers in McDonalds afterwards.

 

News flash: 8 year olds like clappers, and some take them home. Better to put them on their bedroom wall than into a bin. Tw@t.

Did the club add more flags? 

 

I don't like what they're called but all of the flag-waving just before the game made for a good spectacle.

They were winning until that point. It’s understandable. We outsang them at their gaff earlier in the season when winning too.

Yeah they’ve added ones with pictures of trophies etc

 

Although having flags saying “community shield” seemed a bit weird

Oh yeah i agree i was at molineux and they were silent and i think if vards sticks that chance away instead of passing to the worse Brazilian since stevie wonder cut his missus' bush they'd have been silent again

There was a league one trophy too. I quite liked the nod to those times! Not so sure about some of the slogans though.. 'BRING THE FIGHT!'

Cracking atmosphere today.

 

I don't remember a goal being celebrated as wildly as Castagnes for a long long time.

Okay.  I'm happy with the result.  Bring on the opinionated abuse. The clappers sounded pretty good on screen.  The matches I've been to at the KP this season, the atmosphere was lacking.  There are many factors.  The clappers seemed to be a unifying thing today.

I'm not a fan but the clappers do add something. Atmosphere was the best it's been for years.

Was glad not to hear the goal music for the winner. Drowned out with a proper celebration. More of that to come hopefully.

Yes! We had one that said "we're in this together, ready for battle" 

 

Was a great one. Just got back home, I'm unable to speak as my voice has completely gone! Was such a huge explosion of relief, let's crack on now and end this season on a high!

What really pissed me off though was at full time the organic atmosphere and chants were great, and then they blasted that ****ing music and it ruined it. They need to read the room (stadium) rather than automatically hit play!

It's the first time in a long time where UFS felt part of the wider atmosphere, rather than being the only ones making an effort.
