First 15 minutes were perfect from our point of view. We were very direct, played the ball forward as soon as we won it back, weren’t afraid to play long balls over the top, and we did well overloading that left-hand side. But we gradually started to sit deeper and invite pressure, so in that sense we were asking for trouble. But even with that, we restricted them chance-wise quite well. Those two own goals are truly embarrassing. Awful decision-making, slow reactions and terrible execution.

Yeh, forget playing football just hoof it into our own goal

Going forward I think we've been fantastic playing in conducive, positive way, suiting the players we have being a real nuisance and threat.

Our defence is precisely why we can't play godawful, pointless and negative possession football.

Calamities - you can't legislate for.

His momentum has completely been ripped away from him. Tonight has just been astonishing with two wild slices, his composure has evaporated and Ward the same.

Ward has to be replaced and let's hope the pre World Cup wasn't just a purple patch for Faes.

Fascinating 2nd half now, we could easily collapse ala Brighton and Spurs after playing pretty well and capitulating. I've long stopped predicting what happens to Rodgers but I'm very fearful for our season once again, we are so mentally weak.

Mentally weak is such a reoccurring theme and has been for so long at the club. We've lost leaders like Morgan, Fuchs and Kasper and now only really have Vardy and Albrighton left who neither play that much. I do feel for some of the younger players as they've just no leadership helping and guiding them. Lack of leadership, players that don't want to be here, a questionable manager, questionable financial situation, it is all very worrying. So frustrating when you see what Brighton have done in terms of recruitment. We seem to have had so many missed opportunities with new signings and our transfer strategy just seems so poor over the past few years.

They should be able to press for 45 though.

It's something we do over and over again always to the same outcome. There was no need to sit in at that point. We were on top.

Watch Last Chance U Basketball on Netflix. Geezer has got 5 lads from the depths of nowhere on the verge of giving up, running through brick walls for 40 mins no rest.

Our man has 11 millionaires shaking their heads when the ball turns over and jogging back. Absolute soft as shit bunch of cvnts. From the manager to the team.
