I'm claiming diminished responsibility for some of what came out of my gob last night. This is the ramblings of an unstable neanderthal.

Have a good week folks, the good times will roll again one day, until then, keeping on podding on.

Astonishing crash considering he is considered to be a top manager.  :appl:

Doesn’t matter what Rick said that was’nt legally broadcastable since at this point i’m lost for words how to describe this dire predicament. We are such a weirdo team capable of the astonishing and the diabolical one after the other. It would be funny to watch as an outsider for pure entertainment value but not for us fans - it’s bloody infuriating. 🤬 please sort it out somebody and fast!

Didn't say Rodgers was blameless but if vestergaard had gone and proved him wrong elsewhere I'd have more sympathy.

I very much doubt it was Rodgers directly calling him.

.. he said Rodgers did, Rodgers stated that he was calling players in the summer to bring them in  why do you think otherwise!!!

Let’s take everything a disgruntled Jannick Vestergaard, one of our worst ever signings, says as gospel.

I just listened to Sundays podcast and one thing that struck me ( besides the generally very sensible content) was the discussion around iversons distribution. I had just watched a couple of games from the title winning season ( to cheer me up) and the difference between the way we played compared to now. We weren’t  preoccupied with possession and much more willing to play it into row Z or conversely to attempt more risky forward balls. The consequence was that we seemed to create more chances and when we did we were more clinical with the way we constructed attacks and goals. It just struck a chord.

We did have a bell of a team and team spirit though.

Finally listened to the latest episode. Felt it was very Brendan apologist and quite conflicted! They talked about being annoyed at people booing or targeting Brendan after the Brentford game, stating that it wasn’t the time because we’d played well and got a point. I think this is a strange view because we don’t judge a manager in isolation we judge them over a number of games. This man (Rodgers) needs to leave, he is a toxic influence on the club. One game in isolation when we’ve lost something like 5 on the bounce, is not remedy to the issues that he has caused. Just found the reasoning behind not backing this booing / banners from the stand, quite weird.
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the podcast as per usual!

I think you’re talking about the one lad cos as a new listener I enjoyed the previous week where it felt a lot more in tune with the perception of the fans.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not as bad as the love in we’re hearing on Talksport, but let’s be frank, most of us want Brendan gone at this point. Let’s not try to excuse the guy

No, there was definitely two people condemning the anti-Rodgers sentiment after the Brentford game, even though one was Rodgers out!

It’s  a great podcast.
