It costs 10 million to sack BR.

Yet they are prepared to wack 35 million on a winger who is injured alot. Or even wack another 10 million on a CB that is no where near the level of soyunchu who we are still paying btw.

Sack BR put soyunchu back in the team under new management that's your CB area sorted

For sixth months until he’s off on a plane to Madrid come June.

Good point! On a separate note the train locked the doors of the toilet and carriages so none of a packed train could go the loo. Major relief once they got off and normality kicked in with open doors!

So they could all have been full of shit?

Would a back four of Kristiansen, Souttar, Faes and Castagne not be criminally slow though?

Maybe, but who would win a 400m relay race that four v 15/16 Simpson, Morgan, Huth and Fuchs?
I actually see a lot of similar attributes in those two back lines.

The high-line lack of pace thing gets brought up a lot but is it really that essential if a centre half pairing is clever enough? Klopp won a few trophies and reached a Champions League final playing Subotic and Hummels in a side that was hardly camped back, or loaded with shit off a shovel full backs.

Agree. Smarts beats pace ten times out of ten.

Good defenders read the game, end of. It's much more vital than pace.

I saw him for Fleetwood a couple of years ago and he did stand out even though he was only young. And not just because he is tall. I'm not sure he's good for Rodgers team though, just be exposed for pace.

We could partner him with Vestergaard

Stoke fans seem to think 15/16m would do it or a cheaper deal involving Iversen.

We have to learn from the Colwill/Fofana debacle in the summer here and use Iversen as a makeweight. I’ll take Smithies and Stolarcyzk holding the fort as back up for 6 months.
