And don't give me the long term view, in terms of success for a club it's all about what goes on , on the pitch. Jimbo Posted 27 January 2023 Share Posted 27 January 2023 Things are getting that stale with this transfer while we're waiting to see if he signs or not we've taken to arguing about the training facilities But on that point, if it was purely down to the training facilities (which of course it isn't) but IF it was, we'd compete with most clubs in the world. You can't play down your work surroundings. You're there every day. If you're walking into our training complex you do "your job" every day you'd be much happier with your surroundings than you would be walking into Carrington for example. My fear is that he rips it up and one of the usual suspects lures him away and pinches him from under our noses in the summer.
