I thought it was a penalty to be honest, we were lucky there

thought Jenas made a great point on MOTD about not having an outlet up top in the final 10mins to get us up the pitch, invited the pressure as the ball kept coming back into our third

I wonder who comes up with these shit strategies?

Played the last thirty minutes so deep we were defending the 18 yard box on the edge of the Filbo Street pitch, let alone the KP

Equaliser shown it up. Defenders too deep. Ferguson can ghost between Mendy and the two CBs. Cracking header but we’d used up our lives by then

Disappointing end, but probably a fair result. Could have been worse - at least we have Maddison and KDH back. As usual we sat back too much at the end with the inevitable result. Not sure why you’d replace KDH with Maddison and then sit back, but hey I’m no tactician.

Seems like any good bit of play came through Albrighton... so we could play a  4-4-2 and probably win some games

Castange Amartey Faes Thomas

Albrighton KDH Madders Barnes

          Nacho Vardy

Rodgers won’t have that, it’d get us too far up the pitch and have the crowd oohing and aahing! No we need control on the edge of our 18 yard box with two centre halves and a right back who can’t pass.

They were the 3rd or 4th in form team and a win would have put them 5th in the league, we were 20th in form guide yet some still think we should have won with ease, the thread frenzy has blinkered a lot of people.

no-one thinks we should have won with ease, just that we shouldn't have been completely outclassed at home and reliant on a questionable penalty decision, their centre back clearing it from underneath our own bar and March missing a sitter to have not taken another pasting.

relying on the opposition to do your defending for you is how you end up going down without so much as a whimper

Unfortunately, neither is our manager

Did Tielemans still have the captains armband when Albrighton came on the pitch again? 🤣 Is there any surprise the club is lacking direction and leadership when the ‘vice captain’ doesnt even get the armband when the club captains not on the pitch? Its like Albrighton was voted by the players as a joke

Brighton should have won . How many chances did they have to win it .

Nothing has changed and it won't change.

Only heard commentary.

They suggested Brighton had lots of possession, great approach play, but created very little.

Although a point seems like a positive.

Brighton missed a couple of absolute sitters. Solly March blazed a couple over bar when he should have scored. We were second best all over the pitch

Always thought club captain is not the same thing as the captain on matches/pitch, assumed vice captain could be the same? Club captain was a popularity thing instead.

Mendy was never ever getting that ball it was over and slightly behind him with Ferguson coming onto it, for me Amartey or Faes needed to go for it but were rooted to the spot

....the players seemed to be set in a reasonable position for the cross to come in!!!

Mendy was not aware of the man who was slightly behind him and was busy looking at the play instead of picking up his man. It was only when the player had breezed past him, he realised there was someone there and it was too late to react. Faes was too far away to affect the situation and Amartey was the deepest in case the cross came in low into the six-yard box. By the time he turned around to where the cross had ended up, he was way too far away to contest the header. It was a good run by their striker, he held his run and was picked out and he directed the header wide of our keeper using his neck muscles.

It was very much Mendys man to shepherd into the box, but even then that was a mismatch.

You know it's bad when you can see Jermaine Jenas' logic more than your own managers. God help us.
