That half was both enthralling and terrifying in equal measure! I feel like a goal could be scored of either team at any point in time. End-to-end stuff, there's so many gaps all over the place. Now we are 2-1 up I fully expect Brendan to shut up shop and play on the counter, and it's probably the right move given the current game state.

 

Our attacking play has been brilliant. Kelechi Iheanacho has been sublime. Papy Mendy has been brilliant, I think the way he's played (and not just for his goal), it's actually benefitted us that Youri was ruled out today.

 

Also a big shout out to Viktor Kristiansen. I said last week and I'll say it again, he was the best signing we made in the January window. His attitude is first class and he's got the game to back it up. He's effective in both thirds of the pitch. I think he was unlucky for the corner goal as it flicked off one of our players.

 

James Maddison yet again has been class. One of the best players in the country for me right now.
