To be fair,he’s got the quality now, fit Maddison,Nacho controls ball,then the new guys,who when not brilliant,still solid moments & mental discipline,even after some mishaps..but also show on their game they are on the front foot & causing problems permanently.

Barnes more space,and not clammed in,a top class DM,that has alway been solid in the last 3 seasons,and not a cover for Ndidi…Mendy himself is more forward & not so under back foot pressure, now he has the above character around him..

 

Summers knock,though Rodgers rode it, played nice guy & had also a go at the club, & players…IMO rightly and normal business “ outings”,for any manager, many forget, he felt hurt & disappointed in not refreshing the team…His fringe players were ok,but knew and found out…ok covering 2-3 games but not 5-10 game spreads,and always trying to mix n match around injuries….

oh I wanted him gone,because this season there was no spirit or fight,but I always had ( and have) sit on the fence attitude waving both flags..

Stubborn,arrogant is what I expect in a manager,but it can sit comfortably in  2 dimension,as FT-forum has shown…

I still think Madders, and Tielemans will stay,

especially if we carry on playing like this,and can add still to some more squad quality….

 

I would hate it,if Madders,becomes 2 new regular shirts….One for England,the other while strapped in English-player,he wears other another club colours…
