Patson Daka

Yeh it’s 2023 not 2003…

Solanke 40million

Maupay 15million

Scammaca 36million

Chris Wood 25million

Mitrovic 52million

Richarlison 60million

You realise in all those cases the selling clubs weren’t desperate to sell? Hence the higher prices.

Happy to wager he won’t go for more than £20m. There is no clamour to purchase him.

It's irrelevant how much Daka cost us or how people think Daka would likely perform at Bournemouth or anywhere else.

He didn't suit Brendan's style of play, doesn't suit Enzo's style either and now he doesn't even get on the bench.

If we can get £15 mill+ or more for a striker who's played 53 times and scored 9 goals (4 in one game) then let's get rid, wish him well and that's good business.

Not great either. We need that money to strengthen the squad.

Hopefully we get money from Castagne, Souttar sales and a little from Kristiansen loan. Who knows he may even look to sell Thomas to manyoo.

Could be that Daka ends up being the one who ends up staying

Probably stuck with him because of our ridiculous valuation on players. If it is the 25 m reported, that’s just ridiculous

Good news I think.

It shows we won’t accept anything and therefore financially we are not desperate for money.

Also, a strike force of Vardy, Ihenancho and Daka has gotta be one of the best ever in the championship if we keep them all

Everton, Palace, Bournemouth and maybe Fulham will all probably sign a striker before the end of the window. Still a reasonable chance he goes imo.

Can see him getting offers deadline day if none surface before then, which will make it tricky to get a replacement in. Hopefully something happens before then

Wasn’t it Brendan Rodgers who signed him to play for Leicester?

Tbf, we've scored 7 goals this season and a centre forward hasn't bagged yet, don't think replacing daka would make a difference.

Better off getting in a cb like THB and stopping the silly goals we are leaking and we'll be fine

we’d definitely need a replacement in. if Nacho gets injured we just can’t expect Vardy to press and play a full 90 mins and create the way Nacho does..

I could honestly see Enzo just rotating 3 wingers up top to be honest if he doesn't already have a forward in mind.

Not that I'd like that, I'd like us to bring in a decent forward, as long as its not a panic buy

You can’t say it’s 4 in one game if you’re only including his league stats.

Two of them haven't scored between them in four championship matches and the other is crap. You vastly overestimate this.

Can see Daka being moved on and not replaced. I don't think Enzo is that arsed about the strikers tbh. In his pre-match presser on Friday he said he wants more wingers. Didn't even mention a striker.

Through 4 games so far Vardy and Nacho have a combined xG of 0.8 from just 11 total shots. KDH has 15 total shots on his own. This system just doesn't really create anything for the central striker. I wouldn't be surprised if we stick with Vardy and Nacho and if need be one of the wingers will be 3rd choice striker, most probably Mavididi, or Issahaku if he comes.
