Man Utd vs LCFC - 19/02/2023 - Match Thread

Recommended Posts

We kept Kane quiet last week, Rashford is a different challenge running in behind and arguably the more in form of the two (and would be my pick if England had a game right now.) Not sure we can keep him out for 90, sorry Old Trafford isn’t it, 99 minutes, but can manage a 1-1 or even 2-1 win.

Maybe the stubbornness myth can be put aside now.

Unless of course, not changing the team can be spun as stubbornness...

My application for spokesman of the rabid, hypercritical, treasonous flith was sadly rejected but I'd go as far as to suggest the stubbornness criticism was in the context of losing matches and playing poorly.

Thank god he's not tinkered. Had visions of Daka up top.

Bench looking good finally.

IMO Nacho has earned his place in the starting 11,

Forgot they had Sabitzer.

Wonder if Rashford/Fernandes will last the whole game. Guess they will want to get the game done so they can bring them off.

Hopefully we can stop that happening and make it difficult for them.

Casemiro and Martial missing is a big blow for them.

Maguire missing is a big plus for them.

Swings and roundabouts.

We can pump this lot, that United team ain't all that.

Martial? Don't think many Utd fans like him these days.

Sancho off the bench for them is my worry.

The one thing I've noticed with this Utd side more recently is that they don't give up and do tend to score or create chances right til the end. Against Fulham and Leeds they've picked up late victories. They seem to score a lot in the final 15 minutes of games.
