This guy was the difference between 1 point and 3 today. Thought his kicking looked slightly improved today too

eh, kept aiming for Patson who lets be honest is the least likely player to win a header when Mendy isn't on the pitch

Daka was winning his fair share of headers against Semedo, the problem was Iversen struggled with his accuracy and often hit it too long.

we just need to work out his kicking, we are too far in season for that atm so looks pretty bad

with a proper pre season where he can assert dominance over his back 4, he is a prem goalkeeper

nick pope has poor feet but newcastle are flying

He kept hitting it way over to the left side and went out of bounds a few times. If he can’t control his kicks, not sure why he cannot compensate that by starting his run up a bit more angled to the left of the ball instead of straight behind the ball so that it will end up going to the middle of the park. Just needs some training?

think back to the game against stockport we won on pens; if you watch his saves back he on the eye is so clearly better than ward

he makes those pen saves look easy, like he made that neves save

the fact the change did not come then has cost Brendan his job and might cost us a lot

It's quite simple why BR preferred Ward. Simply because Ward is better with his feet, BR loves possession football. He wanted a keeper who would be able to pass the ball. His downfall was that he should have realised that a keeper actually having the ability to make a save is far more important. Again his stubbornness personified!

think this forum is healthy reminder of just how mad it was to start the clown in goal for 26 actual premier league games

I actually think Daka is good aerially on the wing. Won lots of them against Wolves and same again tonight.
