FOXES TRUST WELCOMES THE PUBLICATION OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE FAN ENGAGEMENT STANDARD (FES)

Recommended Posts

The publication by the Premier League of the new Fan Engagement Standard at long last commits clubs to ensuring long-term meaningful engagement with supporters. Foxes Trust view this as being a result of several years of campaigning by supporter groups and the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA), along with recent pressure brought about by the Fan-led Review into Football Governance and the recommendations in the subsequent White Paper.

Foxes Trust is completely defunct and no longer fit for purpose as a supporter’s trust. Can anyone name one thing that the Foxes Trust has done in the past 10 years for the genuine benefit of the fan base or to influence the club?

Union FS’ string of accomplishments and achievements is longer in the past 2 years alone than the Foxes Trust has had in a decade.

Each supporters organisation has a different set of objectives, improving stadium atmosphere and lobbying for safe standing are clearly 2 of UFS main remit

However we work together on some areas, for instance we pulled together a meeting on digital ticketing with the club and asked both UFS and the Disabled Supporters Association to put forward their issues, along with our own and those discussions continued at the recent Fans Consultative Committee meeting.

We had significant input into the government's fan led review, submitting written evidence and then were asked to speak to the FLR panel during the Premier League fans sessions and took more questions about our observations from the panel than any other fans group

We are also active nationally, with one of our board members on the Football Supporters Association National Council and within his remit meets broadcasters about fixture changes and PGMOL in regards to VAR

We also hold the Asset of Community Value on the stadium (have done for many years now), and the involvement of fans on a wider band of heritage issues will form part of the conversations following the publication of the Fan Engagement Standard, while we have already submitted a proposal to the club regarding the Fans Advisory Board, the remit of which will be discussed with the club in the coming months

You also called the Rodgers out brigade idiots in your Brentford match report.

Bearing in mind that during the 90 minutes everyone was behind the lads and it was after the game when opinions were voiced  can you lighten me why the term idiots was used?

Blimey

Guys no disrespect but you all KNOW that all this fans engagement stuff is just a tick box exercise.

I sat in many FCC meeting in the past and nothing of not comes of it.

You guys were a great group during the administration days and im sure i still have my certificate of membership somewhere but whats the point now?

Oh no, not my fan group is better than yours.

This is the point really...Too  many groups interfacing with the club, waters down every fan organisations, plus their points just then fall onto fallid ground..

Then any intelligent Club representative will just have you lot arguing against of each other instead of real fan major issues being lost or just paper talk...

Why not, still holding your own  histories amalgamate become a one major voice for the fans...or  each splinter or spread of the average fan are totally unaware of any fan platform, and again the voice is lost..

It needs either a quiet sensible revolution...or an AL Capone type of set up,who led and brought together all the mobsters...It won't work otherwise..

Fans don't need 10 factions, just the one for discussion,  greviances and proposed changes on stadium & infracture....ONE solid voice..!!

Hopefully the club doesn't just take the easy route and select the Fan Advisory Board from the Foxes Trust, no disrespect but the board of the trust looks like the local bowls club committee.

Hopefully the new fan board includes a bit more diversity, young and old and from all walks of life.

Its a shame they are no longer published. They really ought to be.

no idea why they dont. Its a pretty exclusive meeting by the sounds of things where your average fan cannot just attend.

We shouldn't have to rely on people on the FT telling other fans what was discussed. @Bayfox has done a great job in letting people know but it shouldn't his/her job to.

Foxes Trust the same as the Supporters Club. Old relics who are now irrelevant. Club keep them around the parade "engagement" but lost any form of influence years ago.

Holding the asset of community value on the stadium is such a weird brag. The stadium is being expanded and is in no danger whatsoever of being developed into anything other than a stadium. This isn't some fifth tier club with housing developers sniffing around.

Your contempt for other supporters is shown with your match reports. They may be the "views of the reporter and not of the Trust" but mud sticks and I'd be inclined for you to be more independent and factual in your reporting in future.

Valuable when needed but since Mandaric you've been defunct.

Depends if selection is open, because of lack of information...The club should through game day program, with also an extra in program leaflet inform the fans

Plus through LCFC official site.
