We have a slim chance of staying up, but that will be reliant on the hierarchy doing their job, taking responsibility and doing something they have singularly failed to do for over 12 months.  Maddison is a shadow of the player we know he can be without the burden of the captaincy, He was anonymous as a footballer today but nonetheless visible with his pointless arm waving and moaning Minnie attitude. He doesn’t have the temperament or the leadership qualities to captain the side, nobody does..

 

Cool heads and decisive leadership on and off the pitch if we are to stand any chance of getting out of this awful mess.

We were relegated long before today. Playing an unfit Ward on the opening weekend. Zero subs on the opening day. His depression over the Fofana situation. Playing Luke Thomas. Playing Soumare. Refusing to pick Mendy. Refusing to play Kels. Playing Tete. Losing to Southampton (one of the worst teams to ber play PL football) twice

For a Manager who claims to enjoy working with improving players do me a favour ,he has actually managed to turn good players into poor players devoid of skill and confidence.

Our recruitment has been fcuking woeful it’s supposed to strengthen your team, it hasn’t!

Difficult to understand what Top is doing, blind confidence in a Manager who he thinks is elite must surely be smelling the coffee now, but unfortunately I can see Captain Rodger’s standing on the deck as SS LCFC sinks silently into the Championsip.

Our squad might be patchy as some have said, but it is NOT this bad. I think almost any competent manager could get us to safety. Rodgers is an absolute fraud.

Not getting the team up for it from the start, slow passive bullshit when they were all over us and doing nothing to counter it. 

Not bringing off Ndidi and playing Mendy was, well i just don't have words for it. No player (bar Iversen) looked arsed. Why Daka and not Nacho starting? 

Just questions and more questions, we were rubbish and i actually think for the 1st time we are likely to get relegated. I'm not even mad, just accepting and thats so sad.

Like I said sugar high. Rodgers didn't put this club here by himself. Root and branch. Everyone had a hand in this downfall.

A doddery old bloke kicks off his carpet slippers, gets a nice cuppa and fresh bun at his favourite teashop then gets a taxi to the stadium. He rambles his way through game plan pointing at the wrong chalkboard diagram then sends his awful team out and they play us off the pitch. 

Not exactly an accurate description of events but that's just how I feel after that show.
