We’re ****ed

I’m going to print this post, get some monks to embellish it with colourful inks and gold leaf and shit, and lob it into a massive and impressive frame. It is (by a country mile) the best post in this thread so far.

The forum should have an honours system. Arise Sir Lord ACF.

It should ALWAYS have been a caretaker, who was got in before the Villa game.

Then if we stayed up, i’d have gone and given Potter or Frank everything they ever wanted to bring them to the club.

Appointing Dean Smith (unemployed after tanking at Norwich) and Shakey isn’t a plan. It’s desperation stakes cos the Board didn’t really have a strategy when binning Rodgers.

Norwich don’t have a single good word to say about their time in charge there. Would be truly shocking if this is the best the board are able to sort out

This is bigger than the manager now people. Don't matter if it's Rafa or Dean Smith or Pep Guardiola or Warnock.

We are in astonishing trouble. Hundreds of millions in debt, no parachute payments, a fire sale, a wages bill of just Vards and Ward and Vestergaard alone that dwarfs the entire division. We are in points deduction territory and probably liquidation. We are gonna have to beg Wilf, JJ, Ricardo, Ward, Vardy, KDH and Vestergaard to leave us without demanding money.

...why no parachute payments!!!

We may have taken out a loan against final league position but the money we get is still ours to do as we wish!!!

The only time that payment goes to the finance company would be if we, as a company go under, and that money then cannot go to any other creditor but the people who had a lein on the loan.

Just like taking out a loan against your property,  you take the money when you need it, and pay a monthly amount which would include interest and a bit of capital.

Marsch would have been okay for the rest of the season imo- he got that rank bielsa Leeds side out of relegation. However, Marsch would have hampered us for the following seasons (if we kept him on long term).

Not sure who is left that would realistically be good enough. People spitting about Rafa but who is left?

You know the club is a shambles when a player has to publicly ask the board to do their job, genuinely can't believe the incompetence.

Be nice if he was capable of actually playing once in a while.

Why doesn't he step up and do something for his salary, on a match day surely there isn't much difference between a captain and a coaches role, possibly a bit more tactical information is given out by the coach. Take control of it Evans if those above you aren't, prove you are worthy of another club contract.

There will never be a total consensus for the next manager. Just reading through these pages is evidence for that. The time for thinking a tactical coach has gone in my opinion. We need as near to a motivating unity candidate as possible and that the vast majority would accept even though with reservations.  It's always been Martin O'Neill or Nigel Pearson for me. Pearson is in a job so that leaves one man standing.

Absolutely not, he needs to go!

If this is supposed to comfort fans, it is doing the opposite
