Well people didn’t want a manager who was perceived to have failed at a premier league club, so presumably it’s because Dean Smith actually has failed in the Premier League AND also in the Championship. I think both choices are basically us waving a white flag and accepting relegation. Even if it's the wrong one, we need to make it because doing nothing is just as bad. This is the main issue with our hierarchy. It’s a shocking indictment of the Board that they delayed binning BR and then when they made the decision didn’t have anyone lined up. you can’t run a top professional football club that way. they need to get a grip or top needs to clear house.
