Not saying I’d want him but surprised Nuno hasn’t been mentioned to be in the running. Ticks the boxes for the owners prem experience and certainly better than Marsch and Hassenhutl.

Managing some Arab team.

If you could get Potter in this week  but he demands the same financial package as BR on his contract would you give it to him?

No because he has no backroom staff and would need to pay chelsea compensation for them.

We need something because SAS looked pretty clueless out there once things began to go against us in the second half

took 6 minutes to decide what to do after the sending off and changed nothing once we went behind with 3+ 3 to go

We may have to go cap in hand back to Rafa after tonight.   That may not be the long term strategy the club want to follow but they look to have boxed themselves into a corner

They weren't even in the technical area for the first 10 mins. It's as if they had either forgot or were doing it out of respect for Rodgers. Both utterly ridiculous reasons.

How it's now turning out we haven't got anyone lined up is absolute criminal. We had ample opportunity to do this at the start of the international break or even World Cup. We choose to do it going into the two most winnable matches without any plan to replace him relying on two inexperienced coaches.

It beggars belief this club, it really does.

They have to make a move before the weekend now, whoever it is.  They've just left it way, way too long.  If it takes an 18 month offer to Rafa to get him that's probably what they'll do.

This what happens when you pull the trigger on a manager too late in the season while 19th in the league.

We’re left scraping the bottom of the barrel with the likes of Oscar Garcia potentially on our shortlist

This time of the season just isn’t right for a left field appointment, Adi Hutter being an example.

Hasenhuttl & Marsch don’t seem like the type of managers who will come on an interim basis, plus they have too many scar tissues from their last Premier League jobs anyway.

The only logical answer at this particular time of the season is Benitez, that’s if he would be happy to take it on an interim basis. If it means being boring for 9 games and scraping a few 1-0 wins together to stay in the league, then so be it.

Then if Rafa does keep us up and the Red Bull model is favourited by our board, then forget the likes of Hasenhuttl, Marsch & Garcia.

Instead go all out for the current RB Salzburg manager, Matthias Jaissle.

He is far more likeable than those other three.

Does he need to use the new training ground? give the new manager the freedom to harden up the players.

If we win, spend the week at seagrave, if we lose its bradgate park.

...bring him in, top coach!!!

He lives in the Midlands, so not much of a commute, 9 games to go and a reassuring voice in the dressing room.

Trying to cut your teeth in the Premier League is just not a good idea, and for Shakey it just did not work out.

The set up tonight was a tad strange, no Ricardo and Maddison pushed wide, usurping his more prolific position. Late substitutions did not help.

This is what sticks. How many opportunities have we had with international breaks etc to make a decision that every competent human being on earth could see we were sleep walking towards? How many chances did they have? Now look where it’s left us.

Need someone in who can do a job.

Depends what it is, but I have a Aldi own brand electric screwdriver and a pack of 30w bayonet lightbulbs?

DM me for details.
