The upcoming review of the catastrophic shambles that 2022/23 has been for Leicester City should come to one conclusion from a footballing perspective, and that’s to remove the Director of Football whose management of the season has been so amateurish that it’s almost been negligent. Because that very DOF is undertaking the review this won’t happen. 

Top must surely see that Rudkin cannot review his own abject failure. Bringing in an independent reviewer should be the only option to ensure a fair conclusion.

Our first team have just been relegated, our women team are terrible and our under 23's are terrible. We have let possibly over £50million worth of talent in Soyuncu and Tielemans walk out of the door for free and have handed huge contracts to either average or injury-prone players (Ricardo being contracted until 2026 still blows my mind!).

The fans could influence things, and should try, but ultimately it's up to the owner and perhaps the board.

 

Encourage the fans to make their voice heard, sure. But blaming the fanbase for this mess...? Nah.

Rudkin and Rodgers were close. Their offices at Seagrave were next door to each other. They would communicate daily and Rodgers knew that chairman Aiyawatt “Khun Top” relied on Rudkin. Rudkin was also the conduit to Khun Top, Leicester’s ultimate decision-maker.
