Rudkin

Recommended Posts

We can talk until the cows come home but there's no way, absolutely zero chance that Rudders gets the chop while Top's here. The best we can hope for is a change of job role or some new structural/ethos change in the way we do decision making as a club.

Having had a 'review' at the start of the season into last season's horror show and seemingly nothing really has changed, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Surely Rudkin didnt hold sufficient power over the owner and Susan Whelan that he could effectively block the sacking of Rodgers, if that is true then that is absolute madness and on which case the relegation is pretty much on him, which you would have thought would have led to him losing his job.

although it does make you wonder just how much accountability and responsibility he has taken within the club’s heirarchy for last seasons utter shit show and maybe as a consequence Top stepped in to oversee the appointment of Enzo, which does suggest Rudkin has lost some support and credibility.

My only hope is if he is as complicit in our demise last season and some of the other things being bandied out about him have even a modicum of truth, that he has been given one final opportunity to clear up his own mess or better still he is serving a pre-agreed exit from his role which has a severance package linked to outgoing performance in readiness for a new sporting director to come in from next season.

His lack of involvement in the recruitment of Enzo demonstrates that Top has lost some trust in the man.

I think it’s more likely the club just operate on a whim and not procedurally at all.

If you didn’t trust your DoF you’d replace him, not go over his head and leave him in his post.

Post Rodgers sacking an utter mess at that level (and agents etc quite aware of this and utilise it).

The lines blur when you have situations like Whelan sorting transfer deals with Chelsea and Man U which we do know for fact

Good to know we operate in a way befitting a business turning over nine figures!

There were hints on here that there was somebody digging in their heels on getting Rodgers out the door and an assumption that it was Top. Turned out it was Rudkin all along.

imagine how tinpot and incompetent you must be to keep someone (rather beg) who “doesn’t believe” in the club anymore.

If it was another club, we’d be taking the piss. It’s embarrassing. Still hurts how so many disregarded something so important to many of us. It’s why each time I get excited about us I remember it’s probably going to hit a wall due to this group in charge/ownership.

Ah well.

Let's talk about the fact that we've got: Iversen, Ward, Thomas, Praet, Souttar, Daka, Choudhury on our books and none of them will ever be sold, however in sheer desperation he's gonna bin off our best player in the middle of a promotion battle

He's the sort of bloke that tucks a napkin under his chin and pour custard from his bowl into his mouth and dribbles

Time to make a stand and get this guy ****ed off. He’s incompetent and he’s been saved by our recent success. The only way he goes is if fans actively call for his head.

Read that quickly and thought you said impotent 🤭😄
