It's so obvious and irritatingly effective because they have a billion quids worth of talent on the pitch. If we did that we'd concede from every free kick we gave away.

Looks like the bulk of posters cant see past the goals conceded, we clearly better going forward than under rodgers ball, and against teams around us should fare better.

 

I do think we should be more aggressive defending though.  But this is the first game and against the worst opponent possible.

Right but 50m is the minimum we will get for him in the summer if we sell him this season. If we don't he will go on a free next summer. He's not a leader and that will affect his value also, if he was as good as he is but also a top captain and professional we would be able to command more with only 12 months left on his contract. But agree, we are just guessing. But given the choice between 50m in summer and signing a couple of real leaders, or £0 next season i'd take the 50m personally.

Sorry but I don't see why it's so bad to make any kind of criticism of the players when we're in this position, even if we expected a loss. As if endlessly repeating "come on Leicester" in a forum is going to make any meaningful difference. It's so silly to start having a go at our fanbase because the people who run the club have ****ed up.

They do it so far up the pitch too, Grealish on Maddison on the edge of our third. It kills the transition - and the game
