If Iheanacho doesn't start going forward then I give up, he is miles ahead of Daka and Vardy in terms of looking like doing something, I feel he is one of those players you have to put on the pitch and deal with the occasional brain fart because he just finds ways to be productive

Feeling quite optimistic after that. OK, Man City didn't really go up the gears and made those subs. But we played some decent stuff late on and more importantly showed some grit. Had Maddison scored, as he should have, reckon we could have got a draw. Something to take into the real games from now on.

Terrible in the first half and I can't wait to see the back of some of these thoroughly unlikeable (too nice) and frustrating players we have.

 

Second half there was encouraging signs.

 

Todays game was always going to be a write off, as much as it's hard to take in reality, but it's out the way now and it's time for these players to dig in, get some ruthlessness in them, fight and have no more excuses.

If anyone thought we had a chance of winning then I applaud you. 
 

We shown more fight and spirit today and actually created chances. We can take the positives from that into our next few games, which are all winnable.

Would have been Fvckin funny if we had of drawn. Next home game needs an ihanacho chant before the kick off.

The last 25-30 minutes was fantastic. Just shows what having midfielders that can take and pass the ball does! KDH cannot play again.

 

I know Man City took of their biggest players, but the side that finished the game for them is still world class.

 

Have to take the positives and work our arses off in the build up to Wolves which is now the biggest game the club has played since the Cup final

Really defensive approach in the first half and Man City punished us.

 

Changes in the second. Application from the players was much better, helped with Man City falling asleep and taking off majority of the main threats. Dean Smith will be coming away thinking that if we took our chances then we would be walking away with a point. Good effort overall.

 

Wolves game is massive though. Positive tactics and take the game to Wolves. MUST WIN!
