A shed of hope, maybe a little too late.

XG 2.22 and a bit of fight, that’s all we need.

It’s the hope that kills you.

No. It’s the hope that sustains you. It’s the reality that kills you.

I know you are all going to laugh at this but we had enough clear cut chances in the second half to have won that game.

Indeed, this is the main thing, for so many games I wondered how we were getting back into and winning those games, now we have shown we still have the ability to create chances with the players we have, against the best team in the league.

We didnt have much of the ball but we were so much more efficient with it.

It’s playing attacking football, it’s the best form of defense and what we’ve been lacking

The effective use of Iheanacho could make all the difference in the run in. I do not see him as a lone striker or as a 90 minute striker. He seems to be at his most dangerous in tandem with Maddison in the second half. We need to stay in the game until half time because we almost always look more dangerous after half time. Smith has to insist on total focus from the start ,we cannot give away loose goals and have to chase the game.

Was alright that wasn't it. Almost made a game of it, tielemans isn't going to get offered a contract from a better club than us if he carries on like that.

Only criticism would be he was on the pitch too long.

Actually looking forward to the Wolves game. Yay!

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but Martin Tyler & Alan Smith were a complete joke on commentary today.

Patronising us for not trying to outplay Manchester City. Saying City had harder training sessions in the week. Saying there was no positives for dean smith until the last 10 mins.

Tyler needs to retire & Smith is always weirdly negative about us.

I turned off the sound after 20 minutes because their attitude towards us was appalling.

The biggest thing must be how Smith and co NEED to draw out ALL of the positives from that second half.

That includes him saying Nacho is our number 9 against Wolves.

Ignore talking to the “leadership group” that was mentioned when they joined and start more of the players who ended the game than started 🙏🏻

2nd half was better than anything we've seen in ages.

Stick with that back 3. Iheanacho has to start, we've got a chance.

I'd put Evans in for Faes even if he's 70% fit, if he breaks down so be it, but he's a lot calmer than Faes, especially with Soyuncu in there.

Felt he just did a good post match interview, didnt say anything that would hurt the players confidence and pushed back on man city been relevant to out survival.

Here we go again Praet is the answer this time just as he isn’t KDH lol

Or the mere fact that he can use both feet, offers energy (noticeably not as much but the closest in the squad), actually makes positive forward and unselfish runs (particularly without the ball) which actually opens up space.

KDH has done what positively in a game for how long?
