Wolves (H) Pre-Match

Recommended Posts

When you look at the following facts ahead of today's game you have to fear the worst about our chances:

- No home PL clean sheet for 6 months

- Have conceded first in the last 9 home games in PL!!

- Lost 7 of last 9 PL home games

- Failed to score in 5 of those 9 games

- Scored more than 1 goal in only 2 of the last 9 home PL games

You can also add to that a home FA Cup defeat against a weakened Championship side where he scored only once and yet again conceded first.

This season really has been unremittingly bad.

None of that matters anymore. Rodger’s has gone.

At one point in last night's game, we were potentially bottom. Luckily Arsenal pulled it out of the flames. Let's let that be it...

Sounds like we can release a DVD of when we were at the bottom for 13 minutes (or whatever it was) just like when Totteringham 'won' the league for those few legendary moments.

Mrs is off to Wembley to watch her beloved Blades and I’ll be sat on the sofa, watching Leicester, probably crying. It’s what Saturdays are made for.

Should have gone with her to that, probably have more fun!

I went with some mates when they made the semis last time against Hull (2014?). Was great fun to be fair when it’s not ‘your side’!

Don't care how many wolves score, as long as we score one more! The defence is poo when we defend so hope they just go for it today (no point trying to fix it now), get on the front foot from the off, shoot at every opportunity, give us poor suffering supporters something to bloody cheer for a change.  C'mon u foxes, never quit!

Splitter  ?  he will only be a realist IF we do end up relegated, until then he`s a miserable, meely mouthed, negative git !

You know for some it’s a coping mechanism right? Preparing in advance to ease the pain if/when the worst happens.

Lets be honest, expecting that it’s too late is following the evidence we have seen.

I’ve got from the camp of it’s all done and too late to some hope which is solely based on a belated (ignoring Man City away) new manager bounce. That’s based on hope not evidence and if we don’t win today then that hope will be extinguished.

People will deal with it how they will, doesn’t make anyone right or wrong.

Absolutely nailed on to score.

Of course, we obviously need to score more. Can’t rely on the defence this season now after being a leaky old sieve for the majority.
