Big games are often won/lost in the midfield. JM even for England was listed as an attacker, that's what he is really, an attacking midfielder. If he plays instead of Soumare today we probably lose. If he plays instead of KDH, Daka, Nacho we win more comfortably. He came to deep for the ball at Bournemouth and caused us a  problem. Leicester/ England have been crying out for a midfielder to play in a 3, Leicester have Tielemans a DM, an ?? England have Bellingham/ Rice and Phillips/Henderson/Mount. Both Leicester and England have attacking players that can score a goal, if madders was able to even be an average no 8 he probably has at least 10 extra caps.
