Leicester’s King Power Stadium will be transformed into a 'one-of-a-kind' nine-hole golf course this summer. The sporting switch-up will see the Foxes’ ground converted into a golfer’s paradise for what is being described as a “unique experience”.

The event, which is being hosted by Stadium Golf Tour, will see the King Power transformed over four days from Thursday, June 1 to Sunday, June 4 and allow people to tee off from the stands. The nine-hole challenge will also take golfers of all abilities round the stadium.

Leicester is one of only five venues in the UK to host the “unique” golfing events, with the likes of the home of rugby, Twickenham Stadium, also welcoming in golf this summer as well as Sheffield United’s Hillsborough, Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park, and West Ham United’s London Stadium. The event started in the US and has grown in popularity ever since, crossing the Pond and now reaching Leicester.

The experience will begin for golfers on Filbert Way, with people teeing off from either the North, South and West Stands of the King Power Stadium, aiming for the greens created on the Foxes hallowed turf. An innovative self-scoring system will be in place too as the challenge lasts around 90 minutes.

The golf does not end there as players can take on further driving, putting and chipping challenges in the King Power’s stadium concourses and lounges. The event is designed for people of all ages and skill-sets.

Three packages are on offer for those interested in going - with prices for the Bronze package starting at £75 per person. The Gold package, which also includes a three-course a la carte menu, has prices beginning at £250 per person.

Booking for the King Power Stadium golf is now available. More information and ticket prices can be found online.

I'd like to tee off from the area Brendan did his little clap for 4 years. I'll take a big fcuk off divot in anger.

Or just tee off from him like that that scene in the Mask.

Chapped lip flying about like you've plucked one out the bunker.
