King Power Stadium to become 'unique' nine-hole golf course this summer

Sheffield United's Hillsborough?

I didn't realise the London Stadium belonged to West Ham either?

Though it wouldn't surprise me if they even benefited from this scheme. They don't appear to have to pay much for the use of the stadium!

But back to the golf package. Despite how shite it appears to be, no doubt there will be corporate interest spending their accounts on a day of "entertainment". Though one does wonder how long anyone would find pitching in to the penalty area from the Kop the slightest bit entertaining, before retiring to the bar?! :dunno:

Hope that any proceeds go to a local charity, but doubt it.

Why do you doubt it goes to charity, the owners have and are exceptionally generous at giving, personally I'd be happy if they gave the proceeds to the staff who work there as a bonus, or put it towards some of the overheads or even in the transfer kitty.

So when someones yelling "four" it won't be because we've scored four goals!.  We need to get out of the relegation bunker first! We are playing sub Par at the moment. Why not make it crazy golf after the crazy season weve had!.

I don’t even understand the concept

Are you teeing off from the stand, trying to hit a green?

Or is it a 9 hole Par 3 course all around the pitch area?

I’m not paying £75 to find out, I know

It's all a bit unclear, but I think it's basically a glorified driving range. With "9 holes" you could potentially chip onto. Maybe a similar concept to Topgolf in Watford. Whatever it is - £75 for 18 balls is basically just over £4 a shot. Which is basically daylight robbery.
