It's great to watch, but it's got to be a lot more fun to be a batter in this England side.

It's been superb, yeah. Every single match with its own element of drama and entertainment.

 

Just a shame it couldn't be crowned with the right result.

Whilst it's been incredibly frustrating England should have won at Edgbaston, would probably have won at Old Trafford too and we'd be looking at a comfortable series win. It would be one of the most disappointing aussies teams to win in England. Other than at Lords they've barely been on top. They seemed to be doing the opposite to England out of spite. 

 

However, if you do the basics right you have a chance against England.

I'll be honest, I had my reservations about Crawley but biggest run-scorer in the series (probably) speaks for itself. Great work.

Will make it an exciting chase at least. The way this innings started it’ll be criminal if England don’t finish with at least a 350 run lead for me.

I think we can defend anything above 270-280 more often than not, so not far to go on that score.

Also, Brook really has had more than his fair share of unplayable deliveries and bad luck this series. It's a shame, I was hoping he'd have more of an impact.

Looks like could lose about 50-70 overs out of the next two days, so that leaves about 90 (given the over rates have been abysmal).

 

Push to around 380-400 lead and declare overnight the best play, I think.

Agree. Pile on the runs today. Depending what the lead is about 5.30/6pm, maybe even try and snare a wicket tonight. 

 

Hopefully the weather holds out for enough play to bowl them out.
