....keeper is giving a subliminal message by keeping to the side of the goal where he offers a more extensive area to score!!!

He has in that instance dictated where the ball is going to go. The taker has had his mind made up for him because he now views going in one direction as a bigger percentage of success than the other. The antidote to this would be to go to the area where he is predominantly covering, he (the keeper) does not believe that the player would choose to go there when under pressure.
