Harborough Town spending some money. Jordon Crawford cracking signing for that level.

They’ve won 6-0 at Gresley this evening………Crawford scored the first. Takes them to the top.
Long way to go though.

Where do harborough get the money cant imagine attendances that big.

They tend to draw in 200-250

for your average league games.

They have over 1000 kids playing for their junior teams, that’s a lot of money in subs.

A fair amount of sponsors, decent cup run and who knows maybe someone dips in their own pocket.

Chelmsford City today in the FA Trophy, should be good

There was a good article on this in the Non-League Paper a while back.

Essentially they have a massive facility with plenty of pitches and have managed to get it all under one roof, club makes thousands upon thousands of pounds of turnover through the youth setup and rent of the pitches to smaller local teams. All legitimate and pretty impressive, I could see them being in a position to threaten Coalville as top ranked non-league club in the county if they play their cards right.

It’s very well organised.
The clubhouse is huge & modern. It has a bar & separate function room.

They host wedding receptions, parties etc.

They have about 80+ teams, from grassroots, women’s sides, walking footballers right up to veterans.
The board were (probably still are) very clued up.
The ex Chairman was involved with Bournemouth a while ago & works for the FA.
They only get crowds of about 250.

They do. Lots of local teams, 6-a-side leagues etc hire out the facility.

They really are going places & are very driven.

They have a plan to move on & upwards.

Ramsgate won 9-1 today in the Isthmian SE, now top of the table. Had a lot of ground to make up due to the FA Cup run but haven't dropped a point recently (4 wins in a row since beating Woking) Blew promotion in a very similar fashion to Coalville last season but look a good bet this time around. Not far off a thousand there today.

Good cup tie down at Owen Street today. Coalville probably deserved to go through on the balance of play.

Joe Doyle-Charles was sent off late on. I'm not sure if it's for pulling the Boston players braids or for giving the supporter a clip around his bobble hat. Either way, it's not a great look and he might face more than a three game ban.

It’s for slapping the supporter I’d say, ref is looking straight at it.
The blokes a liability, the club would be better off without him, comes across as a crap captain.

It was a decent tie though, Coalville proving they can live with the trans from the national north. Hopefully we can get some consistency in the league and go on a run.

Boro giant killed Banbury yesterday 4-2. Incredible performance, outplayed Banbury on every level along good atmosphere from the boro faithful which i was told was around 230. Incredible run were on i think thats 8 wins out of 8 in all competitions. Not bad for a club with no ground.

😂😂 what on earth is he doing trying to give a clip to the fan in the bobble hat!?

Bizarre behaviour that given the fan was doing nothing other than trying to settle things down it seems

Heard their trying to lure Marcus Law back, who hasnt managed for about three years. However i was told one of reason he left Kettering before was cause he had awkward relationship with fans.

Many of their fans wanted Mitch Austin from Harborough. He was an assistant there at one point.

Thankfully Mitch as agreed a new contract to stay at Harborough for another 3 years.

Coalville looking poor tonight.

Absolute garbage

They turned up with a proper game plan based on who they were playing and totally did a job on a Coalville team who look uncoached and frankly clueless on the pitch

I've had enough of watching them twat the ball up to two small strikers, it's nonsense.

The midfield is non existent, especially Doyle Charles who imo is not good enough.

Overall it's not good enough
