The following managers are named by Percy as potential targets:

Dean Smith - at his recent meeting with Top and Rudkin he was asked about how we could mount a promotion challenge and talks were said to be positive

Enzo Maresca - would have to wait until at least after the Champions League Final, apparently earned a reputation as the next Pep staff member who could be a manager, following Arteta

Scott Parker - on the radar

Kieran McKenna - on the radar

Steven Gerrard - in the frame after having held talks in April before we got Smith

What a fvcking depressing list of managers that is. Jesus wept.

If Gerrard is only being considered because he was interviewed a few months back, that's a good sign.

He clearly wasn't deemed the best candidate then, so he certainly won't be now.

But you still keep him on the list if you've already interviewed him, even if you keep him at the bottom.

Regardless of if we want them or not the bigger issues is it seems like it’s nowhere near being sorted so that will wipe out another week leaving just 3 weeks before pre season starts, potential signings could be going elsewhere whilst we mess about getting a manager.

Jesus ****ing Christ.

And people question why I claim someone within the club give a remit, brief and demand on how they want us to play.

Why are people like Mark Robins and Michael Duff never mentioned?

Because it would take a modicum of imagination and competency to even look towards them.

If that's the options, give me Maresca and hope he has the Pep philosophy that's served alot of his colleagues well.

Let's get Maresca in and get as many Man City loanees in as possible. Including Carlos Borges.

Knowing our club we'll end up with Ryan McGivern again.

McKenna is probably better than both.

Of a thoroughly depressing list, McKenna is probably the best for making a team hard to beat.

Nowhere near what I'd want for a club who'll apparently be able to outspend everyone in the division though.
