Can I ask why has anyone seriously suggested Viera? Can anyone not see what a horrible job he did at Palace?

That's stretching it so much, but that's in line with this forum the last few months. He had a horrible ending yes, mostly against sides in the top half. The 18 months before that were decent.

Surely we’ve at least approached people like Duff, Hassenhutl, Vieira and Van Nistelrooy. Not expecting us to look abroad as we never do.

Well 3 of them are arguably based abroad, one of them definitely lol

So far we’ve approached Smith, Shakey and then John Terry. That was before Rudkin realised they were part of the same team and already employed by the club

Maresca didn't impress.....impress who? Rudkin, Top and Whelan, or Stowell and Sadler? Bet he looked at them asking questions regards tactics and coaching strategies and thinks, i don't need this.

...they probably did not understand a word!!!

We all know how limited they are so far as the game is concerned, everything would have been over their heads. Strange for a club that keeps things close to its chest that someone has details of the interviews carried out.

His ending wasn’t even that bad, from memory it was a couple of defeats and quite a lot of draws from about 10-12 games in which they faced most, if not all, of the super league six. Remember thinking it was a stupid decision at the time looking at the past 10 or so results.

Pack in your sensible post (although I’m sure he had Sunday off)

Not that I believe LMFOX (cool name bro) or that he has any sort of information which he is able to DM. However, training sessions and preps could still fit a meeting/interview in between, if necessary. Pep is the sort of guy to allow someone to make time for that.
