Manager for the Championship rebuild - who do you want?

It's almost like our Director of Football can't think for himself and/or doesn't have a great knowledge of the game.

Wait until you find out a lot of clubs will seek input from current players, former players, agents etc. and others that the club are close to to get outside opinions on new signings and appointments

I don’t want to be Manchester City’s feeder club but it cannot hurt to get one or two loans from them with our existing players we should have enough to romp the championship.

Not about being a feeder. It's about abusing/exploiting any advantage we can get until we get back on our feet.

See it more as an investor placing seed funds with us. They get a return and we, the start up, builds our own brand

During the previous campaign, he notably netted an important equaliser in the Derby della mole return leg, against neighbouring Torino FC; he attracted controversy, however, when he celebrated the goal by mimicking Torino's Marco Ferrante's earlier "Bull-horn" goal celebration (the bull being a club symbol as it is Turin's coat of arms, and the side also being known in its contracted form as "Toro", bull in Italian).[4]

Get Esteban in as part of his staff

“It is understood that Leicester have sought the opinion of Esteban Cambiasso, their former player who is close to the club hierarchy.”

Now ya talking!!

A natural leader and winner.

The Cuchu Cambiasso connection has come out of nowhere. He seems to still follow the club with interest but that seemed to be about it.

I follow him on Instagram and it's not exactly clear what he does. Goes to a lot of big games.

The outstanding interview is secondary to this piece of artwork

If we get enough bald coaches, they get use their shiny scalps and the sun/stadium lights to blind the opponent GK when we need a goal.

We have a new goalkeeping coach incoming. Should improve Danny Ward

Hopefully he can bring a few young talented coaches from City to be part of his backroom staff as well (and take the place of Stowell and Sadler)

I think this is as important as the right manager itself, would be great if he brings a few to mix it up.

Just bringing in Meresca and leaving everyone else in place is like driving a car that has dozens of issues but replacing the old steering wheel for a new shiny leather one and thinking yeah that's fixed it. (shite analogy I know)

I am concerned by his record as a head coach, and the possibility that the club are doing this because they assume he will 'do an Arteta' (forgetting that Arteta had to fight through the best part of 2 years of looking crap and being called the Tapas Pulis before he started doing anything)

I am enthused by the fact its more original thinking than the likes of Smith and Parker and is at least , and that it should see some changes in the coaching staff.

Good luck to him anyway, he'll need it.

Taking advice from experienced pros is a exactly what we should be doing. It happens in industries all over the world. One of the biggest criticisms you could have of us last year is it seemed (emphasis on this) is that we lived in a bubble and didnt take on external opinion.

Its why businesses pay for NEDs. Its why the NED career path is so lucrative.

This is exactly what we should be doing - not only to gauge a wider opinion base but also for critical analysis of what we are doing.
