If Gordon is £45M, then Barnes is worth over £50M. 2 years left on his contract and the kind of player that wouldn’t kick up a fuss if he had to stay. So the asking price for Barnes we can stretch out. Won't be surprised if West Ham will trying bidding as low as £25million, let's try 60million. Make it known we're not looking to sell. Nothing coming out of the Barnes camp yet, he's asking to leave. If they want him then get to tempt us. We don't sell Barnes the win, win. Got a quality player in the championship sell him late on in the window then huge profit coming our way, but must allow enough time to get a replacement in.
