Rightly so. I suspect they might come down on him harder than in previous seasons based on the new rulings around abuse of officials.

Liverpool fans calling it pathetic that is he might be in trouble.

Not bias of course in anyway..

Wonder if leaving the carabao cup early will be helpful for Spurs? Let's them focus on the league, but I'd imagine that's a good competition they could've gone for

Focus on them not winning it, yes.

Focus on them being in a European spot, definitely.

I think, for a club that hasn't won anything since 2008 they probably aren't pleased with going out yesterday.

Yes, that's what I was leaning towards. Getting as high as possible and into the best European competition they can should be their aim.

Which was this competition as well right?

Their aim is likely 3rd or 4th to get champions league. With kane gone, I think that would be considered  a 100% successful season for them. Europa = happy and well anything less is failure.

Fa cup is always there..but it's spurs so it isn't lol

Reading BBC sport this morning and fans have unanimously voted for madders as one of 2 of the best signings any club has made this season (premier league).

judging by his performances he’s found his groove in the creative center of that refreshed spuds squad. Hell they might actually do well this season and madders will be a big reason why. I know we needed to sell but it hurts offloading a player if that Calibre. They are dime a dozen. Oh well we had some good times he was part of and I’ll always remember his positive contributions to the foxes.

Perfect start but we all know the real test starts away to southampton followed by Norwich away.

I can't help but think we might set a massive unbeaten run in the league, even doing so for the whole of the season..

Should have enough quality for a vast majority of teams.

Forty million for a reserve who hasn't played that much?

Blimey, Chelsea, they saw you coming.  Again.

This why countries should tax billionaires more.

Personally, I'd buy an island and you wouldn't hear from me again, but Boehly just keeps on pishing it up other Premier clubs and Agents.

That doesn’t mean what you think it means.

Forest didn't register a single shot on target last night at home against Burnley. Chelsea away next.

Any chance that Cooper could be in serious bother if they don't start improving soon?

Spurs going out in round 2 is a disgrace really.

Probably the toughest tie they could have got though and fielded a weaker side than usual.

I don't know - they did well at Arsenal and Man U in defeat so will be on safe ground for now.

2-1 at Arsenal was ridiculously flattering.
