They haven't even built a decent squad yet and they're still knocking around with a largely untested manager at the top level. They over performed last year with a squad that's only recall mid table and they're back pretty much at their par now. Its strange 1 because despite both club and fans chewing him out they will want that 40m, there won’t be many that will say he’s a wrong’un terminate his contract and get him out the club asap which is what they were baying for when news 1st broke on him, in fact it’ll probably be the reverse if they want him for 40m bet we could get 50m or even if they want him maybe we should keep him. They're hugely missing another steady head in the middle - someone to grab everyone by the neck. In fairness to the geordies, they have had the media talking about how the fanbase 'deserve' success for decades so maybe thats not helped. But based on right now, hard to trump West Ham. 6th in table and want Moyes out, because he doesnt play the 'West Ham way', which as a 38 year old I dont really recall seeing much of in my lifetime from them. Talksport last night was ridiculous, genuinely felt like calling in to say I was a Leicester fan & can sympathise with the mockney masses - I wanted Ranieri out and was gutted we won the title with 35% possession... However, the players not thinking it through that thoroughly is also entirely possible. Brains and discretion aren't necessarily strengths of footballers.
