I saw a short clip where he talked about having to change everything in a short space of time and not getting the chance. They were 6th, nothing needed changing. They are doing OK now, he's the only one that struggled with this group of players.

I can't quite see him being a top-notch manager, but in his defence he's never been in a position to sign players. The amount of managers over the years who are rated by everyone, but have been able to sign plenty of players, is huge.

Harry Redknapp made his name just by signing players. He had zero detailed tactical knowledge and often didn't even bother taking training.

However, football has moved on and the amount of tactical ability and more importantly adaptability you need at the top level is much higher nowadays.

Redknapp reckless in terms of money, probably bankrupt Portsmouth, QPR he did same again then Birmingham he spent there entire budget for the next three season in on one summer... only to be sacked in September. I think if you asked Redknapp to manage a club like Burnley hed struggle. Apparently hes turned down loads jobs due to no budget. He was offered both Newcastle and Sunderland said no. He was even offered Man City in 2007.

Why are people so quick to nosh off De Zerbi and rubbish Moyes, when Moyes is getting far more out of much less than De Zerbi has?

West Ham have probably spent twice as much over the last two seasons. Doesn't equate to doing better, but when West Ham have a shit spell they'll come under more scrutiny (also playing the West Ham way)

Oh dear, poor Forest. Having to get their referee analyst to kick off as the Liverpool keeper was given the ball back rather than Forest and Liverpool scored 1 minute and 50 seconds later….

Of course Forest had no chance of preventing the goal occurring in nearly two minutes of football and from the complete other end of the pitch?

Saw the video and was so confused. From what I’d read I thought liverpool went straight up the other end, won a corner and scored

Poor poor Florist. Bellends the lot of them.

Even their owner was getting involved at the end too.

That's only cos they know the decision is coming this week about their points deduction!

Of course they had a chance to prevent the gaol, but it's refereeing garbage like that that doesn’t help their image of being incompetent.

Forest get given the ball back it's a completely different two minutes of football.

Just watching match of the day. So sad that managers are scared to say something in case of punishment even when the referees have been ridiculously woeful.

Painful how over protected they are.

You’d think Mark Clattenburg was a Forest player going by this headline.

Does sound like a right old mess .

Always one or two games that end like this .

The limbs in the Liverpool end was superb. Plus the reaction of the Liverpool players when Darwin Nunes scored. Amazing moment.
